Christmas Week Schedule - December 8-12
Get ready for an exciting week filled with fun, festivities, and plenty of opportunities to connect with the curling community! From watching curling games to delicious dinners, festive markets, and lively parties, there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re a sports fan, a foodie, or just looking to enjoy the holiday spirit, our schedule is packed with events. Don’t forget to bring your friends and family along and make the most of these special moments.
Monday
- 12:00 PM – Cheap & Cheerful Gift Swap : Everyone is welcome to join this warm and friendly lunchtime activity! Participants are invited to bring a small, wrapped gift purchased from a dollar store for a fun gift exchange. Ankara will be hosting the activity and keeping the energy lively and cheerful!
- 6:30 PM – Wine Tasting (reservation required) : Come enjoy a cozy and engaging wine-tasting experience accompanied by a wine expert that will help you learn more about wine and discover new favorites. The host, Karyne Duplessis Piché has been writing about wine since 2007 and for the daily newspaper La Presse since 2011. She is one of the few wine journalists in Quebec. She has written over 700 articles and is also a wine columnist for various Radio-Canada television and radio programs. Passionate about wine and a true foodie, she is interested not only in what’s in the glass but also in how it is produced. She visits vineyards all around the world, including those in Quebec and Canada. The cost is $50 + tax. Reservation is mandatory, as spaces are limited. Book here
- 7:00–9:00 PM – Dinner (reservation required): Enjoy a relaxed, casual dinner while watching a live curling match — or simply come soak up the festive atmosphere together. A perfect moment to unwind, share good food, and enjoy the holiday spirit as a group. Book here

Tuesday
- 7:00 PM – Montreal Canadiens Watch Party : Watch the Montreal : Canadiens take on the Tampa Bay Lightning together on the big screen! Enjoy a drink, cheer for your team, and share the excitement with fellow fans.
- 7:00 PM – Junior Team Fundraiser – Spaghetti Dinner : Our junior curlers, together with their parents, will prepare and serve a fundraising dinner to support their curling season. Come enjoy a delicious meal for $20, support the team, and bring your friends and family — no reservation needed, everyone is welcome (gluten-free and vegetarian available)!
- 6:00 PM & 8:15 PM – Watch Live Curling Games
Wednesday
7:00 - 9:30 PM – Christmas Market (including a curling store) : Join us for a festive Christmas market featuring a variety of kiosks, including the GarCurl Curling Store, which will be traveling here to give members the chance to purchase new shoes, brooms, and accessories (Goldline & Hardline) without having to go anywhere!
We are also planning a bake sale kiosk to support the Lockerrooms project at the club. We are looking for volunteers who would like to donate homemade baked goods to be sold, helping raise funds for this important initiative.
Furthermore, if you are a craftsperson or know someone who would like to have a kiosk, you can reserve a spot. To volunteer or to have a kiosk, click here.
7:30 PM – New Members Welcome Party (dinner available): New members are warmly invited to join us for a fun and friendly evening to meet other members, chat, and make connections. Stay for dinner if you’d like to share a meal with your new community!
6:00 PM & 8:15 PM – Watch Live Curling Games
Thursday
- 7:00 PM – Women’s Locker Room Fundraiser (Tapas style) : Guests will be able to purchase tapas platters (cheese, charcuterie, and other small bites) to support the Lockerrooms project at the club. We are also looking for volunteers who would like to help with the preparation of these platters. To volunteer, click here
- 7:15 PM – Comedy Show : Enjoy an English comedy show featuring several comedians! Bring your friends and family for this fun-filled performance. Admission is free and open to all, but donations are encouraged to support the event.
- 8:30 PM – Watch Live Curling Games
Friday
- 6 PM – Christmas Dinner & Party *(reservation required)* : The week concludes with our Annual Traditional Christmas Dinner! Join us for a festive evening hosted by Katherine Nollet, Nickolas Cieslinski, and Sara Holden, as we celebrate the holiday season together. Enjoy a delicious meal, great company, and a fun party atmosphere! RSVP to come.
