The Grande Dame and the Grand Match will take place on Saturday, November 15, 2025.
The game schedule sent by the ARCM lists the teams in numerical order. Each club’s officials are responsible for assigning their teams accordingly.
Games consist of ten (10) full ends.
After 5 ends, players put down their brooms for a short break to warm up.
After the games, the host clubs provide a snack or a meal.
The general rule is that half or fewer of the teams play in their home club, while the remaining teams travel to other clubs. The schedule aims to respect this principle as much as possible, based on the registered teams and the ice availability.
To be eligible for the official standings, the participation requirements are as follows:
For the Grand Match, each club must register at least 2 teams per sheet of ice in its club (up to a maximum of four sheets).
For the Grande Dame, each club must register at least 1 team per sheet of ice (up to a maximum of three sheets).
In both competitions, additional participation bonus points are awarded for each extra team registered beyond the minimum requirement. Clubs that do not meet these minimums may still participate in either competition, but their club will not be ranked in the category where the required number of teams has not been reached.
SCORING – The final score for each club is expressed as a percentage and calculated as follows: The total number of points scored (for and against) by all the club’s teams in all their games is tallied. The total number of points won by all the club’s teams is also calculated.
If a club has entered more teams than required, a bonus point is added for each additional team. The total number of points won is then divided by the total number of points played to determine the percentage of points won. The club with the highest percentage wins the competition.
This calculation is performed separately for the Grand Match and the Grande Dame.
